HOCKEY MOM - HOCKEY WIFE
I have been surrounded by hockey for most of my life. I started with a part-time job at age 16, selling programs at Peterborough Petes games. Next I became a hockey wife, married to my NHL playing husband (later broadcaster and coach) for the past 32 years. This led to becoming a Hockey Mom to 3 boys* who played in a variety of leagues from minor hockey, through BCHL, PIJHL, NCAA, American Hockey League, NHL, ACHA, BCIHL, FL, SHL, and Austrian Hockey League. I think that covers them all!
*Please note that our 2 amazing daughters have been huge fans of their brothers and their Dad through all this time, and have tremendous insights into what it means to be part of a hockey family because let me tell you this, our great game envelops everyone in its path!
